This role involves providing support in the operating room, specifically for cardiovascular cases. Responsibilities: Assist in preparing and maintaining the operating room for surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgical staff to facilitate efficient case flow. Provide expertise in scrub functions during surgical procedures. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and ensure a sterile environment. Participate in the preparation and management of surgical instruments and supplies. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CVOR Tech. Current national certification (NBSTSA or TS-C) is required; NCCT will not be accepted. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience in scrub functions for cardiovascular procedures preferred. Shift Details: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (06:00 - 16:30). Call requirement: 2-3 calls per week with at least 1 weekend per month (24 hours on Saturday and Sunday). Off days will vary during the week. Additional Requirements: No use of tobacco or nicotine products is permitted; candidates will undergo testing for nicotine and cotinine.
