Travel CVOR Technologist - $2,600 per week
About the role
Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 12-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, at a large 938-bed hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Start times for CVOR Technologist: 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM
- Weekend rotation includes on-call only
- On-call requirements: once per month for 24-hour call Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, and end of shift call up to once per week
- 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts
- No sleep room available for on-call
- Holiday shifts are on-call only, as needed
- No working more than 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts due to fatigue policy
- Average of 10 cases per day
- Patient ratio is 1:1, including cardio and thoracic surgeries such as CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, robotic thoracic cases (lobectomy, hernia repair), generator exchanges, lead extractions, heart transplants, and fem-pop bypass
- Strong CVOR background required with ability to work independently with minimal guidance across all specialties
- Minimum 2 years of experience required for ORT and Surgical Assistant roles
- ORT certifications: BLS and graduation from an accredited school; CST preferred
- Surgical Assistant certifications: BLS and graduation from an accredited school; CSFA preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced environment required
- Must be proficient with EPIC (required for ORT/Surgical Assistant), Alaris, Pyxis, and DaVinci XI equipment
- 2 weeks of orientation provided
- No floating required for Surgical Tech role
- Scrubs are provided
