Travel CVOR Technologist - $2,227 per week

About the role

Travel CVOR Technologist position in Tacoma, Washington at a Peds Operating Room – Level II Pediatric Trauma Center – Level IV NICU. 13‑week travel assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first scrub: handing supplies to surgeon, counting instruments
• Scrub for cardiothoracic cases including Tetralogy of Fallot, pericardial window, transposition of great vessels, open heart valve repairs, ECMO, PDA ligation through thoracotomy, ASD repairs
• Care for patients ranging from neonates to 18 years, including adult‑sized patients, infants, developmentally delayed patients, and those with congenital anomalies
• Float to General OR to assist with cases when not busy in CVOR
• On‑call coverage: one call shift per week (end of shift through following morning), two weekends per six‑week period (end of shift Friday through Monday morning), with 30‑minute response time

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years pediatric CVOR experience in a first scrub role (second scrub experience alone does not qualify)
• Current CST certification
• Current BLS certification
• Active Washington State ORT license (must be active on submission)
• First‑time travelers not accepted unless they have 5+ years pediatric CVOR experience

Qualifications

• Experience scrubbing for the patient types and diagnoses listed above (manager approval required if missing 1–2 specific experiences)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Weekend rotation: call only
• On‑call: one shift per week (end of shift through following morning), two weekends per six‑week period (end of shift Friday through Monday morning), 30‑minute response time
