Travel CVOR Technologist - $2,206 per week

About the role

Travel CVOR Technologist position in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This is a 13-week contract starting 11/16/2026, with 36 hours per week on night shift.

The CVOR Tech will support surgical services focusing on open heart adult surgeries, including CABG, valve surgeries (aortic, mitral, pulmonic), and transplants. The role involves floating to the main OR when there are no CVOR cases scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, specifically in managing cardiovascular operations
• Maintain surgical equipment and environments
• Document necessary patient information and surgical processes
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations

Requirements

• 1.5 years of CVOR experience required
• Experience with open heart surgeries and related procedures
• BLS certification required
• National certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required

Schedule

• 3x12 hour Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• 36 hours per week
• 24 hours on call per month
