The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in providing surgical assistance during various cardiovascular procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist in the setup and management of surgical instruments and equipment during cardiovascular surgeries. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety during procedures. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all surgical protocols and policies. Participate in the transportation and positioning of patients prior to surgery. Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately. Qualifications Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is mandatory. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Minimum of two years of experience in a CVOR setting is required. Previous travel assignments in surgical settings are preferred. Extensive experience with procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, VAD insertions, and more is highly desirable. First Assistant experience is preferred but not required. Unit Information Scrub colors will be provided by the facility. Unit features 6 operating rooms with a patient ratio requiring 1 scrub and 1 circulator. The documentation system used is Cerner. On-call shifts may be assigned and rotated among staff.
