Job Summary

Operating Room Open Heart nurse in OR OH is responsible for providing specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery procedures, including cardiac transplants, vascular, thoracic, and general surgeries. The role involves preparing the operating room, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room for cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Assists during surgeries, including valve replacements and robotic procedures.
• Provides patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintains compliance with clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Experience in cardiac surgery, cardiac transplant surgery, vascular/endovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, thoracic robotics, and general surgery.
• Certifications: National Certification Required, American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certificate.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
