Job Details
- Position: Certified Surgical Technician CVOR
- Surgical Technology in Cardiovascular Operating Room
Job Requirements
- Must have current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
- Completion of Ascension Specialty Exam prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% passing score
- Completion of Ascension Core Competencies within a year of start and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% passing score
- Completion of Ascension Surgical Technologist Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation prior to clearance
- Must provide documented proof of required immunizations and health screenings including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza Vaccine (optional), Fit Test, Positive PPD or IGRA with chest X-ray if applicable, Health Statement of good health
- Must provide Ascension Profile (resume) and at least two professional references
- Must pass Ascension Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other checks within 90 days of first assignment
- Must complete Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start and updated annually
- Must provide Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
- Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start
- Third-party employment verification for past seven years
- Driver's License/State ID must be current and valid
Schedule Information
- 4x10 hour shifts
- Shift times: 06:00 - 16:30 or 08:00 - 18:30 depending on case schedule
- 1 night call per week
- 1 weekend call per month (Friday evening through 06:00 Monday)
