Shift Information Shift: Days in the CVOR with call as required, 8 hours from 0600 to 1430 Licenses and Certifications Current Illinois Registered Nurse license Current CPR/BLS Card Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Requirements for Emergency and Critical Care Departments Various departments in the region require additional certifications, including: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Units Requiring Certification Emergency Departments Intensive Care Units (ICU) Progressive Care Units (PCU) Acute Rehabilitation Units Medical/Surgical Units Cardiac Services, including Cardiac Catheterization and Cardiac Care Decision Units Recovery Rooms and Procedure Rooms Experience Requirements A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing role is required.
