Responsibilities
- Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care to pediatric patients at the facility
- Assist the surgical team during high-acuity procedures
- Monitor patient status
- Document care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN license
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- CVOR RN: able to scrub and circulate ADULT or PEDS open-heart cases
- References: 1 Reference in the last 12 months
- Skills checklist within 12 months
- Reference dated within 12 months (job up to 5 yrs old)
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric CVOR experience
- Comfort with call shifts
