About the role
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in both circulating and scrub roles. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in cardiac surgical procedures, including but not limited to CABG eversion, chest closure, thoracoscopy, wedge resection, aortic valves, and mitral valves. Responsibilities
- Assist in various cardiac surgical procedures as both a circulating and scrub nurse.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure adherence to best practices and protocols.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
- Collaborate closely with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license.
- Experience in cardiac surgical procedures, specifically CABG, EVH, chest closure, thoracoscopy, wedge resection, aortic valves, and mitral valves.
- BLS Certification required.
Schedule
- 12-hour day shift position.
- Guaranteed hours at 36 hours per week.
- Duration: 13 weeks.
