Travel CVOR RN - $2,861 per week

About the role

Seeking an experienced CVOR RN to join a high-acuity Cardiovascular and Thoracic Operating Room team. Nurses must be comfortable circulating in a fast-paced surgical environment and working with a variety of surgeons and complex cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for a variety of complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
• Work closely with multiple surgeons and the surgical team in a high‑acuity environment.
• Adhere to call requirements: minimum one weekday call shift per week, one full weekend call per month, holiday call required, with a 30‑minute response time.
• No floating between units; remain assigned to the CVOR.
• Utilize Epic electronic medical record for charting.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of CVOR circulating experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
• Comfortable working with multiple surgeons.

Qualifications (preferred)

• Scrubbing experience (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with Epic EMR.
• Facility‑specific orientation will be provided.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, day shift.
• 8‑hour shifts; start time 6:45 AM, end time 3:15 PM or 5:15 PM.
• 40 guaranteed hours per week.
• Minimum one weekday call shift per week.
• Minimum one full weekend call per month.
• Holiday call required.
• 30‑minute call response time.
• No floating between units.
• Epic charting used.
