About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular surgical care under the supervision of a Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse (CVOR)
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative care of patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
- Participate in the setup and maintenance of operating room equipment and supplies
- Ensure sterile technique and adherence to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Active CVOR certification
- At least one year of recent relevant clinical experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
Qualifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in operating room procedures and equipment
