AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Albany, New York. This position involves complex cases including neuro, spine (both neuro and ortho), robotic cases in urology, gyn, general surgery, bariatrics, colorectal, thoracic, ENT, minimally invasive vascular and advanced open vascular, plastics (minor and major), cardiac (open and minimally invasive), ortho total joints (minimally invasive and open), ortho trauma, and pediatric cases (minor and major including peds cardiac).

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
• Handle complex neuro cases, including neuro navigation cases
• Assist with robotic surgical cases across multiple specialties
• Support minimally invasive and open surgical procedures across various specialties
• Work 10-hour day shifts as part of a 40-hour work week

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in New York (RN-NY)
• BLS-AHA certification
• Strong experience in neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgery
• EPIC experience required
• Trauma levels must be included on every work entry
• Work history must be updated to current date
• SSN and DOB required for submission
• One reference within the last 12 months

Pay

Pay rate: $2580.00 - $2713.00 per week, based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
