About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Albany, New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
• Handle complex Neuro cases, neuro navigation cases, and spine cases (both neuro and ortho)
• Manage robotic cases in urology, gyn, general surgery, bariatrics, colorectal, thoracic, and ENT
• Perform minimally invasive vascular and advanced open vascular procedures
• Assist with plastics (minor and major), cardiac (open and minimally invasive), and ortho total joints (minimally invasive and open)
• Support ortho trauma, pediatric minor and major (including peds cardiac), urology, and gyn

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in New York (RN-NY)
• BLS-AHA certification
• Strong neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular experience
• EPIC experience required
• Trauma levels must be included on every work entry
• Work history must be updated to current date
• SSN and DOB required
• One reference within the last 12 months

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• 10-hour day shifts

Pay

Pay rate: $2573.00 - $2705.00 per week
