Assignment Details

• Start Date: 09/07/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 40
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Schedule: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Call: Starts at 03:00 PM when assigned; weekend call required on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays when assigned

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams in various cardiac and thoracic procedures
• Scrub in on a variety of cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacement, aortic dissection repair, and TAVR
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields in the operating room
• Support procedures including da Vinci-assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, mediastinal lymph node biopsies, and ECMO management

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required
• Proficient in the operation of relevant surgical equipment and documentation systems
• Ability to take call and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
