Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms
- Maintain aseptic technique
- Assist with patient positioning
- Support a variety of surgical procedures using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, CVOR
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a surgical technology program
- Active Texas Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or LVN/LPN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 3 years of recent operating room experience in a hospital or surgery center
- SSN Required
- DOB Required
- References: 2 References in entire work history
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in scrubbing multiple specialty areas such as transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, robotics
- Strong attention to detail with surgical instrumentation
