About the role

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine, is seeking a travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This 250-bed acute care teaching hospital provides advanced surgical services and supports a wide range of specialties. Lewiston is located in central Maine, about 35 miles north of Portland and just two hours from Boston.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care in the cardiovascular operating room
• Manage surgical cases including general, ortho, neuro, urology, GYN, bariatrics, ENT, vascular, and robotics
• Work 12-hour day shifts as part of a 36-hour week

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with CVOR specialty
• Minimum 2 years of recent operating room experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Level 1 and/or Level 2 Trauma experience (2 years)
• Social Security Number required for submission
• Date of Birth required for submission
• 1 reference in entire work history

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong skills in perioperative care

Pay

$2082.00 – $2189.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week. Duration: 13 weeks. Start date: October 5, 2026.
