About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri. This position is for a Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room - Travel - (Cardiac - OR - CVOR RN) at a 585-bed Level I trauma center with advanced cardiovascular operating rooms. The hospital is known for its comprehensive specialty care and collaborative surgical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room setting
• Work 10-hour day shifts as part of a 13-week travel assignment
• Collaborate with surgical teams in a Level I trauma center environment

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license (Compact accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CVOR nursing
• At least 9 of the last 12 months working in CVOR
• No more than 90 days of gap in employment within the last year
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Recent cardiovascular operating room experience
• SSN and DOB required for submission
• Locals are acceptable to submit

Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems recommended
• Strong perioperative skills recommended

Pay

• Pay rate: $2004.00 - $2107.00 per week
• Based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
