Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for an assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. This 13-week position starts on August 17, 2026, and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week on night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Scrub for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, including heart and lung transplants (night shift requirement).
- Manage emergent cases in a fast-paced CVOR environment.
- Float within the service line as needed.
- Enter missing instruments into the CensiTrac system.
- Adhere to call requirements, which may include 3-4 weekday/weeknight and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule.
- Comply with monthly parking protocols and potential fees for rotating shifts.
- Complete orientation modules within specified timelines (start within 1 week of contract signing, complete 2 Fridays prior to start).
Requirements
- Experience: 2 years required; 1 year may be considered if from a Level 1 trauma facility.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (required for all RNs at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, except Behavioral Health, Case Manager, and Outpatient roles).
- Skills:
- Scrub experience for cardiovascular, thoracic, transplant (heart, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas), and vascular surgeries.
- Competency in procedures such as Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Carotid angioplasty/stenting, CABG, Mitral valve replacement, Whipples (Pancreatic Procedures), and organ donation.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Work Conditions:
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility (no locals accepted).
- Pending license accepted.
- Scrub navy uniform required.
- Charting experience with EPIC system preferred.
- Compliance requirements must be met by 3 PM CST the Monday before the start date.
- No RTO (Request Time Off) allowed during the first week of the assignment.

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal/lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual pay and per diems may vary and are subject to change during the assignment.

- 40 hours per week, 10-hour night shifts.
