Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - $3,054 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse skilled in both scrub and circulating roles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing and assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Aid the surgical team with patient preparation before, during, and after surgery.
• Perform scrub duties during cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient statuses throughout surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Previous experience in CVOR settings.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

Experience in CVOR settings, proficiency in scrub and circulating roles, and relevant certifications are essential.

Skills

Proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are key.

Pay & Schedule

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

4 × 10 hour shifts per week, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call required for one weekend (Friday-Sunday) per month, and a minimum of one weekday call per week.
