Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - $2,954 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cardiovascular and open heart procedures and be comfortable circulating in other OR suites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Aid in the preparation and organization of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Perform circulating duties and ensure proper sterilization techniques are followed.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification; CNOR preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an OR RN in a large academic teaching hospital.
• High competency in cardiovascular and open heart surgery procedures.
• Epic experience required within the last 2 years.
• Ability to float to other OR suites such as general, ortho, neuro, ENT if necessary.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shifts available are 4 days a week from 0645 to 1715 or 3 days a week from 0645 to 1915. There are also on-call shifts on weekdays and one full weekend of call every 5 weeks.
