Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - $2,867 per week
About the role
The Cardiac Surgical Nurse - OR assignment is a 13-week contract position starting on August 10, 2026, working 36 hours per week, rotating 12-hour shifts during the day. The position requires on-call shifts with 5 call shifts per month.
Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate during cardiac surgeries, including CABGs, aortic and mitral valve repairs/replacements, heart transplants, dissections, and LVADs.
- Float to different surgical services as needed based on cardiac volume.
- Maintain staffing ratios of 1:2 during procedures.
- Document and chart patient information using the Epic system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiac surgery.
- Vascular and Thoracic surgery experience preferred.
- Current valid RN license and certifications as required.
- Ability to scrub and circulate in cardiac surgeries.
- Ability to respond to on-call shifts and assist as needed.

Pay & Schedule
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
