About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 22, 2026, in Lewiston, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate equipment used in catheterization labs, ensuring its proper functioning and safety.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Maine.
- At least one year of relevant experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems, particularly those used in healthcare settings.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Proficient in operating catheterization lab equipment.
