About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 22, 2026, in Lewiston, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate equipment used in catheterization labs, ensuring its proper functioning and safety.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Maine.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems, particularly those used in healthcare settings.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
