Job Summary

Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialist positioned in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves working in a high-acuity setting with responsibilities that include trauma and vascular cases, requiring competency in neuro and vascular procedures. The position requires previous travel experience and proficiency with clinical and operational tools such as outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard.

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-acuity operating room setting with open heart procedures
• Handle trauma and vascular cases
• Perform neuro and vascular procedures
• Participate in call responsibilities
• Work weekends and holidays as required
• Operate in a fast-paced trauma environment requiring advanced skills and clinical competence

Required Qualifications

• Certification in nursing or related healthcare field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in operating room settings with open heart procedures
• Trauma experience level 1
• Proficiency in neuro and vascular procedures
• Prior travel experience
• High skill checklist rating required in relevant clinical areas
• Competence in using Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard
• Must have own electronic device and know how to operate it

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-acuity care settings
• Trauma certification
• Vascular or neuro specialty certifications
• Familiarity with electronic patient management systems

Schedule

• Day shift, 10 hours per shift
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• No block scheduling
• Call responsibilities required
• Weekend and holiday work required
