About the role

The role involves providing critical care, monitoring and assessing critically ill patients, managing advanced life support equipment, administering complex treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in the CVICU setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
• Manage advanced life support equipment and medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain high standards of patient care.

Requirements

• 1+ years of recent CVICU experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Preferred qualifications

• Certified Clinical Research Nurse (CCRN).
• Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Technician (TNCC).
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Other relevant certifications as applicable.
