Travel CVICU RN

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Travel CVICU RN to provide critical care in an ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing subtle changes in their conditions
• Administer complex medications and treatments following critical care protocols
• Manage advanced life support equipment and perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional support in high-acuity environments
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery expectations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• At least one year of recent CVICU RN experience
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to perform essential functions
• Proficiency in English, technical skills, and ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS certifications or other relevant credentials
