Travel CVICU RN - $2,792 per week

About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Norfolk, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients recovering from complex cardiac surgeries and acute cardiac conditions at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Magnet-recognized teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center.
• Work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13-week assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Registered Nurse, CVICU experience: 2 years
• At least 18 months of recent CVICU or CSICU experience
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA; CERT-NIH Stroke Scale
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Holidays: Yes
• Weekends: Yes
• Float: Yes
• Scrub Colors: Navy Blue

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Following Specific/Exact Brands: Nx or Next Stage CRRT, Impella 5.5 and IABP teleflex
• Compact RN License In-Hand
• Previous Travel Experience
• EPIC EMR

Pay

Pay Rate: $2722.00 - $2861.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
