About the role

We have a new travel assignment for an RN - CVICU in Tucson, AZ. This is a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) position, working 4 shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage continuous hemodynamics, ventilator care, and vasoactive drip titrations for high-acuity cardiovascular patients.
• Provide advanced clinical care for post-CABG, STEMI, and complex vascular patients, with preferred experience in Open Heart, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
• Perform ongoing intensive care assessments, continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and vital parameters, and respond rapidly to subtle clinical changes.
• Maintain a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio while collaborating with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams; readiness to float to Medical ICU or Progressive Care units as needed.
• Educate critically ill patients and their families on post-procedure protocols, recovery milestones, and ongoing care strategies.

Pay

Pay range: $2,299.01 - $2,704.71 per week.
