About the role
We are seeking a skilled CICU/CVICU Registered Nurse with experience to provide high-quality care to patients with complex cardiac conditions. This role requires a strong foundation in cardiovascular care, including expertise in advanced mechanical support devices.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to adults and geriatric patients in a high-acuity environment.
- Administer medications, manage IV drips, and monitor patient responses.
- Utilize advanced cardiac support devices, including IABP and Impella.
- Perform bedside procedures such as central line and A-line insertions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure adherence to nursing protocols and best practices in the CVICU setting.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CICU/CVICU nursing.
- Active Maryland state RN license, or compact RN license.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CPI required; NIHSS and CCRN preferred.
- Proficient with Epic charting system.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Rotating shifts of 3x12 hours (Days: 07:00 - 19:30; Nights: 19:00 - 07:30)
