About the Role

Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU) RNs needed for Level 1 Adult & Pediatric Trauma center, Teaching Hospital, Magnet facility. 18 bed unit provides care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures. Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, the placement of ventricular assist devices, and other complex procedures
• Work in intensive care units offering advanced care for critically ill adults, including cardiac, neuro, surgical, and medical ICU specialties
• Collaborate in a patient- and family-centered care environment
• Utilize leading-edge technology as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient with Vents, transplants, CRRT, Swan, Epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive gtts titration, level 1 IABP, ECMO

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensure
• 2 years CVICU experience
• Current experience with recovery of post-op Cardiac surgery patients directly from OR in a Trauma / Teaching hospital
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Weekends: EOW
• SSN Required
• DOB Required
• 1 Reference in the last 12 months
• 36 or 48hrs/week, RNs choice

• EPIC experience
