Travel CVICU RN - $2,248 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a CVICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Prescott, Arizona, starting on August 24, 2026.

About the Role

This assignment lasts 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek on 12-hour night shifts. The role involves providing critical care in the CVICU and may require floating to ICU, PCU, MS, or Tele units at both campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Manage patients requiring IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump), CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), and post-Fresh Open Heart Surgery (OHS) care.
• Titrate intravenous drips as required.
• Float to ICU, PCU, MS, or Tele units when necessary.
• Complete and pass a dysrhythmia exam with a minimum score of 80% within two attempts.
• Use the Cerner charting system for patient documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in CVICU.
• Experience with IABP, CRRT, and post-Fresh OHS care from the OR.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts (minimum 80% score).
• Impella experience and familiarity with Cerner charting system are preferred.
• Must not have been employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility (including CHI or Dignity) within the past year.

Pay
