Travel CVICU RN - $2,234 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and a commitment to delivering exceptional nursing care. This is a 13-week contract travel position requiring a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patient condition, interpret data, and implement necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and disease management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

• 2 years of CVICU nursing experience.
• Valid PA or Compact RN license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Experience in a Trauma Level I facility preferred.

Schedule

• Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.
• Weekend and holiday requirements: every other weekend and holiday.
