Requirements
- South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License in hand
- BLS certification
- 2 years of work experience as a registered nurse
- Preferably 1 year of clinical work experience in managing advanced heart failure patients
- Experience with Durable MCS (HM 3, Heartware, BrioVAD), IABP, Impella Devices
- Strong cardiac background and VAD, IABP, and Impella experience
- Open to accommodating block schedule with manager’s approval
- Local radius: 60 miles
- Experience as a VAD Coordinator preferred
Responsibilities
- Service and troubleshoot inpatient and outpatient cardiac devices, including VAD, IABP, and Impella devices
- Traverse both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing expert SME guidance on device operation and troubleshooting
- Conduct rounds on patients with advanced heart failure, ensuring optimal device function and patient safety
- Collaborate with clinical teams to manage complex cardiac cases and device-related issues
- Support facility needs, including floating within scope and participating in weekend and call coverage as required
