Travel CVICU RN - $2,051 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a CVICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina, starting September 7, 2026.

About the Role

This position is for a travel nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The assignment lasts 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Titration of vesicant medications
• Management of pressors, sedation, and paralytics
• Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, and telemetry interpretation
• Understanding of hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation
• Procedures performed on the unit include:
  • Cardioversion
  • Central line insertion
  • EGD and bronchoscopy
  • Chest tube insertions
  • Pericardiocentesis
  • Thoracentesis

Requirements

• ICU experience required
• CCRN certification recommended but not required
• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT appreciated

Skills

• Must have:
  • Titration of vesicant medications
  • Familiarity with pressors, sedation, and paralytics
  • Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, and telemetry interpretation
  • Understanding of hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation
• Advanced/desirable:
  • IABP
  • Impella
  • CRRT
