ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in Columbia, South Carolina. Specialty: CVICU; Discipline: RN. Start date: October 26, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel.

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery and related procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in intensive care procedures, medical management, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including the management of arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators.
• Administer medications and blood products as prescribed and ensure compliance with protocols for patients requiring ECMO and other advanced cardiac support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVICU setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Skills

• Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, preferred.
• Ability to manage complex patient needs, including those requiring advanced monitoring and therapies.
