About the role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Asheville, NC. This is a 13-week travel contract position with a shift from 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 36 hours per week, including alternating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Manage and provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients.
- Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry results.
- Administer medications, including vesicants, sedatives, and paralytics.
- Initiate and manage ventilator settings and tracheostomy care.
- Perform advanced procedures including cardioversion and central line insertion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- ICU nursing experience required.
- Familiarity with hemodynamic assessments and PA catheter setup.
Qualifications
Preferred certifications: CCRN, IABP, Impella, CRRT.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
