Travel CVICU RN - $1,923 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a 13‑week assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia, starting November 2, 2026. The position is for a CVICU Registered Nurse working 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, check vital signs, and alert doctors of major changes in patient condition.
• Act as a liaison between doctors and patients, relaying important information to patients’ families.
• Provide daily care to ensure patients recover comfortably.
• Administer care for patients following open‑heart surgery.
• Responsible for treatment and care of heart transplant patients.
• Educate the patient’s family on ongoing needs and care of the patient.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care CVICU setting.
