Travel CVICU RN - $1,779 per week
About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the CVICU at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a 13-week contract position starting 11/09/2026. The CVICU is a 16-bed unit specializing in post-operative cardiac surgery care, devices, and advanced cardiac procedures. The unit is equipped with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps, and utilizes the Meditech documentation system. The team is supported by an intensivist assigned to the unit 24/7.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
- 2 weekends per month
- 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day)
- 2 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day)
Responsibilities
- Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including those on ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADs
- Perform central line insertions, Swan-Ganz catheter insertions, intubations, and other critical procedures as needed
Requirements
- Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience
- Advanced skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT
