About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for CVICU in Austin, Texas. The assignment starts October 20, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

Qualifications

Preferred experience includes Cardiac Advanced Device Therapy Management with at least IABP/IMPPELLA/Swan‑Ganz management.

Requirements

• Active RN license verified through Nursys/License Certificate Verification.
• Completion of Ascension onboarding items: Core Competencies, EKG Exam, Specialty Exam, Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding, Skills Checklist, Education Verification, Employment Verification.
• Professional references.
• Required vaccinations and health documentation: COVID‑19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, 2‑step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot).
• Health statement, driver’s license/state ID, criminal background check results.

Schedule

Shift: 12‑hour days, 36 hours per week. Start date: October 20, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend to be determined. Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems calculated from nationally published GSA rates; actual amounts may vary.
