Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - $2,629 per week

About the Role

Malone Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 09/26/2026, with 36 hours per week on a night shift (19:00 to 07:30, 3x12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Care for patients including fresh hearts, ventilated patients, those with chest tubes and lumbar drains, and individuals with chronic and acute renal failure.
• Float to all ICUs, PACU, ED for ICU holding patients, and all IMC units as required.

Requirements

• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with devices such as Impella, IABP, and CRRT using PrisMax, or experience with fresh heart cases.
• Proficiency in post-op open heart recovery, Swan, Flotrack, temp pacers, Alines, and chest tubes.
• CVICU experience with fresh open hearts, including procedures like CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR.
