MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Administers medications, checks vital signs, and alerts doctors of major patient changes.
- Liaises between doctors and patients, ensuring their welfare and communicating with family and friends.
- Ensures patient comfort through daily care and treatment of patients following open-heart surgery and heart transplant patients.
- Provides education to the patient's family on ongoing patient care needs.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Accredited nursing program degree
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care CVICU setting
