Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - $2,339 per week

About the role

Join a high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU caring for post-operative open-heart patients in a fast-paced critical care environment. This is a 13-week travel nursing contract located in Hazard, Kentucky.

• Specialty: CVICU RN
• Shift: Nights (3x12/4x12 Rotation) | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week (84 hours every two weeks)
• Schedule: Week 1 – 3x12-hour shifts, Week 2 – 4x12-hour shifts (rotating schedule)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
• Float within scope of practice as needed
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling not available

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of current CVICU experience
• Fresh/Open Heart recovery experience is required
• Active Kentucky or Compact RN License (required at submission)
• AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Must reside 75+ miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
• Active RN license in hand at submission
• Unexpired driver’s license with matching permanent address
• ARH coversheet required
• Up to 7 days of RTO accepted if submitted with the application
• 2 professional references (1 Charge RN or higher and 1 Supervisor)
• Copies of all required certifications
• Only one ARH position may be submitted at a time
