Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - $2,326 per week

About the role

Provides direct patient care to medical/surgical/cardiovascular patients needing advanced monitoring. Operates advanced medical equipment including use of central lines, multiple IV's, balloon pumps, Impella pumps, and patients requiring Ventilation Support or Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. Assesses and implements established policies and procedures with minimal supervision. Acts as a clinical leader and assists with precepting staff. Directs care for patients from admission to discharge, including discharge planning. Receives direction from Providers, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Chief Nursing Officer.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced medical equipment including central lines, IV's, balloon pumps, Impella pumps, and patients requiring Ventilation Support or Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy.
• Absorb and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
• Assist in the assessment and implementation of care plans for patients.
• Direct care for patients from admission to discharge, including discharge planning.
• Provide direction to RN, LPN, CNA, Housekeeping Staff, Dietary Staff.
• Receive direction from Providers, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Chief Nursing Officer.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in CVICU preferred.
• Ability to operate advanced medical equipment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in good standing.

Schedule
