Responsibilities
- Provide specialized critical care nursing to patients in the CVICU, including titration of vesicant medications and management of complex cardiac patients.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data, including PA catheter setup and interpretation.
- Administer and titrate pressors, sedation, paralytics, and vesicant medications as per protocol.
- Perform procedures such as cardioversion, chest tube insertions, and transvenous pacing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to hospital policies.
