Travel CTICU Registered Nurse - $2,000 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment in New Haven, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care services to patients requiring advanced medical interventions.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Connecticut.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
