About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment in Santa Cruz, California.
Responsibilities
- Perform general CT scanning, ER imaging, virtual colonography, and gated procedures as needed
- Chart via Cerner
- Use PACS via McKesson
- Occasionally cover night shifts
- Float within Radiology per facility policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-Ray experience required
- Active CA state license required
- Active BLS, ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and Fluoroscopy certifications required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Experience with virtual colonography and gated CT procedures is a plus
Qualifications
- A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Skills
- CT and X-Ray experience
- BLS certification
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications
- Virtual colonography and gated CT procedures

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8-hour evening shifts with occasional night shift coverage as needed
