About the role
American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - CT/XR for a 13-week night shift contract at a facility in Decorah, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Performs both routine and emergency diagnostic procedures including general radiography, portable radiography, surgery, and computed tomography (CT)
- Operates radiologic equipment to produce quality diagnostic images across multiple modalities including CT, general radiography, portable radiography, and surgical imaging
- Performs related clerical and patient care duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
- ARRT(CT) and ARRT(R) certifications required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
- State of Iowa Radiologic Health registration required — license required if applicable
- Excellent customer service skills
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Skills
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques and procedures
- Ability to operate and maintain radiographic equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
- 3rd shift schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- No weekend or call rotation
- 36 hours per week
