This role involves independently performing CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. The position supports both outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiology program or equivalent, with documented competencies in Radiology and CT Active Radiologic Technologist Licensure in Montana Advanced certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Two (2) years of previous radiology experience Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelor degree in healthcare-related studies Essential Job Functions Perform quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff. Operate with limited supervision while maintaining high attention to detail and customer needs. Assist medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary. Perform ancillary duties related to the maintenance of proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures. Complete required documentation for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams. Retrieve written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains professionalism at all times. Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality. Successfully performs essential functions in a busy and stressful environment. Proficient in learning current and new computer applications and office equipment. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work effectively while meeting multiple deadlines. Schedule Requirements This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. Flexibility for varied scheduling is required. Physical Requirements Lifting: Repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds. Sitting: Occasional maintenance of a sitting posture for extended periods.
