Travel CT Technologist II - $2,514 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients as needed
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scanning
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• BLS certification
• National Certification in CT from ARRT
• State-specific licensing if required
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of experience

Skills

• Ability to work long shifts (up to 12 hours)
• Standing, walking, bending, leaning, and stooping
• Knowledge of radiation safety procedures
• Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy

Benefits

• Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
