Travel CT Technologist

About the role

A skilled CT Tech is needed for a travel assignment. You will operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepare and position patients, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters
  • Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety standards
  • Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document procedures accurately
  • Work with healthcare professionals to provide timely diagnostic services
  • Follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of recent CT technologist experience
  • Valid radiology license and current BLS certification
  • Preferred ARRT certification and other relevant licenses
  • Critical thinking and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC systems
  • Physical ability to move, push, and pull equipment
  • Ability to adapt to various protocols and work under pressure with attention to detail and professionalism
